What quality of horsehair do you use?

We use only one grade of horsehair – the very best available. Black hair as well as salt & pepper hair is offered for bass bows.

Does it cost extra to have my bow cleaned and polished?

It does not cost extra to have your bow cleaned and polished. We take a great deal of pride in our work and consider a thorough professional rehair to include returning the bow cleaned, polished, rosined and looking its best.

Do you offer other bow work?

Can I ship my bow in a bow case?

We recommend the use of our specially designed NetRehair tube. Most bow cases are not designed for shipping purposes.

Is the work on my bow guaranteed?

Yes, our work is guaranteed without question. We take great strides to rehair your bow to the appropriate length based on the humidity where the bow is being shipped. To that end, we guarantee the length of the hair for the life of the hair.

Is my bow insured? are you bonded?

Yes, NetRehair is bonded and insured. Your bow will be fully insured while in our possession and every shipment is insured to $50,000.00 in transit back to you. We recommend that you insure your bow when shipping to NetRehair. Check with your insurer to see if it is covered, or add insurance with your shipper.

What is the cost of a rehair?

The cost of a rehair is $75 for violin, viola, and cello bows. For bass bows we offer white hair, salt and pepper, or black hair at $87, $82 and $75, respectively. Payment is requested via email once your bow arrives at the workshop and has been examined. We accept all major credit cards.
